What is palletizing?
An automated palletizing process can consist of a free-arm robot grabbing a box and placing it on a pallet in the most optimal packing pattern.
With our intuitive software SmartPack-Nordic, companies can now take advantage of mix palletizing, which means that the robot is able to fully automatically palletize different box sizes on the same pallet. We always strive to ensure that companies are not locked in with our solutions, but instead achieve flexibility in the production line.
With automated palletizing, companies free up resources that can instead be used for essential work processes that create value. Our experience is that customers have quickly achieved a return on investment.

We believe that a flexible and user-friendly software is needed, as we have experienced that the industry has lost time and had large costs when changing production, such as when changes were made to box sizes. This often stops the palletizing process and requires lengthy programming, which has meant downtime at the End of Line. Therefore, efficient and flexible palletizing with SmartPack–Nordic is essential to increase the companies’ capacity in the End of Line and thereby avoid bottleneck problems.
Linear palletizing solution
At Fipros Nutrition, Robot Nordic has integrated a linear palletizing system.
The linear palletizing facility saves space and allows packing on several pallets.
A linear system can be mounted both on the wall or ceiling, and euro pallets are simply placed in front of the robot arm, which palletizes. In traditional facilities, this will require extra space to place euro pallets around the robot arm, which takes up unnecessary space in your company.
Palletizing with SmartPack-Nordic
All cartons are palletized on pallets or in cages with uniform cartons or cartons of different sizes.
With SmartPack-Nordic, the company avoids lost time on programming, as SmartPack-Nordic is quickly and easily set to palletize all carton sizes, even if these are different sizes.
With a few clicks and without programming, the company itself controls preferences for pallet and box size, and the software ensures that the palletizing robot packs in the most efficient pattern.
